Adopted!

Petey has been waiting since early this year for his furever home. He is a handsome, playful 4 yr old American pitbull terrier mix. He walks well on leash and does well with other dogs, but will need to meet the other dogs in the household. Petey requires a fenced yard. Come meet him and see how he will wiggle his way into your life.

Pet meet and greets are by appointment only, so if you’d like to meet Petey, submit an application in advance by going to the shelter’s Adopting a Pet page at https://www.co.clatsop.or.us/animalcontrol/page/adopting-pet. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the application. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to ac@co.clatsop.or.us or deliver it directly to the shelter. Application forms are also available on the front door of the shelter and can be filled out and turned in on the spot. A shelter staff member will review the app and call you to set up an appointment.
