👑 Hear ye, hear ye! The noble Sir Hunter Camelot is officially seeking a forever kingdom to call his own. This striking, dignified fellow is a true gentleman who prefers a life of luxury, sunbeams, and endless pampering. He’s very affectionate but independent. He lives life on his own terms and will gladly accept chin scratches—until he decides his royal audience is over. His perfect castle would be a calm, mature household where he can enjoy a laidback lifestyle.

Quincy is a handsome 1-year-old Heeler mix weighs about 43 pounds and is pretty hard to miss. Between those gorgeous blue eyes, his unique tan-and-white coat, and his happy-go-lucky personality, Quincy has a way of making you smile.

Quincy loves his walks, playing with his shelter friends, and most importantly FETCH. He could probably play fetch until the sun goes down and then ask for one more throw.

Quincy does well in our shelter playgroups, but his youthful energy can sometimes be a little overwhelming for some canine friends. Quincy is eager to learn, responds well to correction, and is ready for someone who will help him become the best dog he can be.

Adopted!

Don’t let her name, Bear, scare ya. She’s all kitten and full of feline fun. Sweet little fuzz Bear came to the shelter at just a few hours old with mom and littermates. She then spent time in foster growing big and strong. She has been around young kids and lived in a home with a dog (didn’t interact but has awareness).  With all this adventure she’s already had, she’s a remarkable calm and quiet gal.

Bear is currently staying with our friends at Riverdog Astoria (1389 Duane St) so stop in to visit them during their open hours (Mon-Sat, 10-6 and Sun 10-4).

Meet Nico, a gorgeous goofball who’s ready to learn what it means to be someone’s best friend. Nico is a 2-year-old Husky mix with a big personality, a beautiful smile, and a whole lot of potential. He’s smart. He’s affectionate. He’s curious. And he is very much a silly guy.

Nico wants to be right there with you. He knows some basic commands such as sit and down, and he does well in playgroup with other dogs.

Nico will need someone willing to continue working with him and help build his confidence and good manners. He has all the makings of an incredible companion. If you’re looking for a dog with personality, potential, and plenty of goofy charm, come meet Nico!
