Clyde is our KMUN, THE ASTORIAN, 94.9 THE BRIDGE, and CLASSIC HITS 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of April 12, 2026

Clyde is great with other dogs, does well with cats, rides nicely in the car, and is super sweet once he gets to know you. Around the office, he’s been an absolute gentleman.

He does have a couple of funny quirks. Clyde loves plastic and would much rather snag your recycling or Tupperware than play with his toys. He can also be a little shy with new people—especially women—and might give a low growl when he’s feeling nervous. It’s never been aggression, just him being unsure.

Clyde would be happiest in a home with another dog and an active lifestyle. Older kids could be a great fit, but little ones might be a bit overwhelming for him.

Honestly, he’s just a really good dog looking for the right home.

He’s currently in a foster home and comes into the shelter often, so you might get to meet him if you stop by the shelter.

Bailey is our KMUN , The Astorian , 949 The Bridge , and Classic Hits 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of March 29, 2026

Adopted
Big things come in small packages with this German Shepherd mix! Bailey is just under 1 year old, fully grown at approximately 40 lbs, and the perfect blend of smart, loyal, and eager to please. She may be shy at first but warms up quickly. Bailey is highly trainable, treat-motivated, and easy to walk on a leash. She bonds closely with her person and is the kind of dog who will happily follow you around the property just to be near you—she does best in a home where she’s not left alone for long. Currently living in foster with three large dogs, Bailey is social, playful, and full of puppy energy—she can be a bit mouthy with a herding instinct but is learning her boundaries. She’s content entertaining herself with toys, but enjoys the company of other dogs. Bailey would do best in a cat-free home without small children while she continues to mature. Have German Shepherd experience and looking for a loyal companion? Bailey might be your girl.

Roxie is our KMUN, The Astorian, 949 The Bridge, and Classic Hits 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of March 23, 2026

Adopted

Roxie is a 6 year-old short haired calico lady ready to start her new life. This girl likes laps and purring and would love to find a nice, calm home where she can be someone’s true princess. Roxie’s first home had a little too much activity for her with young kids, and she hasn’t expressed any interest in making friends with the other cats at the shelter, so we think she’d love to be in a quiet home of her own. Roxie is loving and sweet, but she sometimes has issues trusting people. She’s got a heart of gold and is waiting for someone to give her the love she needs. The shelter is proving to be a stressful place for Roxie, and we’d love to find her a place where she can relax and be loved.

Bagels is our KMUN, The Astorian, 949 The Bridge, and Classic Hits 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of March 15, 2026

From one of our dedicated volunteers:
Bagels. I love this girl. If I had room in my home (I currently have 5 dogs) I would take Bagels home in a heartbeat. She is shy but sweet and wants to please. We have been working on her leash skills and she has improved by leaps and bounds. Bagels joins our playgroups and while she is timid in group with other dogs, she is building confidence. She will take a minute to warm up to you but once she does you might be rewarded with one of her beautiful smiles. Bagels does have a high prey drive so unfortunately no cats or small dogs.
Please please consider adding this loving soul to your home ❤
