Abbie is a sweet kitty with just a little bit of sass. She likes head and chin rubs but would rather you didn`t touch her back. Abbie is a good communicator and is always happy to let you know how she is feeling. Someone in Abbie`s past had her declawed, so she will need to be a strictly indoor cat and to be with someone who understands that she needs reassurance that you are someone she can trust. This is a spunky and special girl that has won the hearts of the shelter volunteers.

Pet meet and greets are by appointment, so if you’d like to meet Abbie, call the shelter at 503-861-7387 or stop by the lobby to set up a time. The shelter is open 9:30 to 4:00 Tuesday through Saturday, closed 12:30 to 1:30 for lunch.

Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to: ac@ClatsopCounty.gov or print it and deliver it directly to the shelter.
