Rudy!
This happy-go-lucky pup is ready to be your best friend and go with you anywhere and everywhere. Rudy is a two-year-old pit-mix who we lovingly call “giraffe” because of his long legs and coloring. He has an excellent smile, a big heart, and wants to please everyone around him. He walks well on leash and waits patiently at doors 🙂
Rudy will do best in a home with space to run and have fun. He has met a few of the dogs at the shelter and has done ok, but he does have a prey drive and will need to go to a family without small animals. Please make an appointment to meet Mr. Rudy.

Wiley is a 8-month-old shepherd mix eager to be your best friend and the shelter is no place for him grow up. As a young fellow, Wiley has a lot of happy puppy energy and loves exploring trails and playing ball in the shelter play yard. He has participated in our shelter playgroups and has a great time with his dog friends. Our trainers have been working with him on a variety of life skills including loose leash walking. Wiley will thrive with someone willing to continue his training, someone that will provide structure and companionship. He wants a family to be there as he becomes a loyal and loving forever pal! Come meet Wiley!

Adoption Fees:
Dogs: $125 for dogs younger than ten years and $60 for dogs ten or older.
Cats: $90 for cats younger than ten years; $30 for cats ten years or older.
Bonded pair (emotional attachment to each other) are available for the single price.

Small but mighty! That’s Willow. Weighing in at 40 pounds this three-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier packs a lot of sweetness into her foot-high frame. Willow walks well on leash and enjoys zooming around the play yard. Willow wants to be with people. A family working from home or looking for a traveling companion will find a best friend in Willow. She has shown reactivity to dogs both large and small so at this time we are saying she needs to be the only animal in the home. Please make an appointment to meet this gal; she brightens even the rainiest days.

Molly loves wand toys and gentle head rubs from people who give her the extra special attention she deserves. The key to Molly’s heart is definitely through play! She’s looking for a home where she can be truly appreciated and provided with lots of opportunities to show off her strong hunting skills.

Buckley is our KMUN, THE ASTORIAN, 94.9 THE BRIDGE, and CLASSIC HITS 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of July 20, 2025

Buckley, with his golden heart and velvety coat, is still looking for his forever home. He is a sensitive, shy guy who quickly opens up for snuggles. At three years old, this Pitt-Mix is the perfect age for fun energy and calm walks. Buckley participates in our shelter playgroups and does well with most dogs, but because he didn’t get along with the dogs in his previous home, he’ll need to meet any dogs in the home to ensure it’s the right fit for his sweet soul.
