Why would we feature her again? Because she is still patiently waiting to meet her very own family. She’s blossomed in a loving foster home and is more than ready to find her very own space. Someone deserves to know the joy of having DeeDee fall asleep on their lap after tiring herself out chasing a moth. Or to walk into a room and see her happily looking out a window. DeeDee is a true gem who is looking for a gentle home filled with love. In return, she’ll fill that home with even more love and joy. DeeDee would do best in a calm home and as the only feline friend. She has been friendly with small dogs in a former foster home, but will want to be given time and space to adjust to her new family. Call the shelter to set up an appointment to meet her in her foster home if she sounds like she might be the match you’ve been waiting for!

The shelter is open 9:30 to 4:00 Tuesday through Saturday, closed 12:30 to 1:30 for lunch. You can also fill out an application here: https://www.clatsopcounty.gov/…/Adoption-Application-2024. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to adopt@ClatsopCounty.gov or print it and deliver it directly to the shelter.
