Meet Heidi! Heidi is a German Shepherd Husky mix with the most beautiful eyes. At just over two years old, she is an independent, old soul who loves the outdoors. She walks well on a leash and patiently sits and waits before gently accepting treats. Heidi can be selective with whom she trusts and will do best with someone with dog experience who can be patient when getting to know her. Once she opens up, Heidi is a joy to be around. She will make an excellent walking and hiking partner. Just make sure to stop and smell the flowers. Heidi loves to take time to explore and gives gentle kisses after a good walk! Please consider giving Heidi girl the forever home she deserves.

Pet meet and greets are by appointment, so if you’d like to meet Heidi, call the shelter at 503-861-7387 or stop by the lobby to set up a time. The shelter is open 9:30 to 4:00 Tuesday through Saturday, closed 12:30 to 1:30 for lunch.

You can then save the application to your computer and email it to: ac@ClatsopCounty.gov or print it and deliver it directly to the shelter.
