Lovey is a friendly girl who can be a little shy at first. She likes wand toys and gentle pets. She’s small in size but big on love. She’s got a short, grey and white coat and the cutest pink, heart-shaped nose. Lovey is staying with our friends at Riverdog Astoria (1389 Duane) so stop by to meet her during their open hours (M-Sat, 10 -6 and Sun 10-4).

The shelter is open 9:30 to 4:00 Tuesday through Saturday, closed 12:30 to 1:30 for lunch. You can also fill out an application here: https://www.clatsopcounty.gov/…/Adoption-Application-2024. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to adopt@ClatsopCounty.gov or print it and deliver it directly to the shelter.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs: $125 for dogs younger than ten years and $60 for dogs ten or older.

Cats: $90 for cats younger than ten years; $30 for cats ten years or older.

Bonded pair (emotional attachment to each other) are available for the single price.
