Roxy is spunky, sweet, and ready for her next chapter! Roxy has been spending some time in a foster home, and she’s been showing off just how much she has to offer.

She’s housebroken, kennel trained, walks nicely with a gentle leader, and loves people. Her foster time has also helped us learn more about what makes Roxy happiest and what kind of home will help her truly shine.

Roxy has lived with other dogs, but she can resource guard, so finding the right canine match is important. She’s looking for a cat-free, small-dog-free home where she can be her fabulous self.

If you’re looking for a sweet girl with some personality and a whole lot of love to give, Roxy might just be your girl.

Pet meet and greets are by appointment, so if you’d like to meet Roxy, call the shelter at 503-861-7387 or stop by the lobby to set up a time. The shelter is open 9:30 to 4:00 Tuesday through Saturday, closed 12:30 to 1:30 for lunch. You can also fill out an application here: https://www.clatsopcounty.gov/…/Adoption-Application-2024. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to adopt@ClatsopCounty.gov or print it and deliver it directly to the shelter.

Adoption Fees

Puppies (less than 6 months) $250

Dogs (6 months to 10 years) $180

Senior Dog (10 years and over) $100

Kittens (less than 6 months) $125

Cats (6 months to 10 years) $100

Senior Cat (10 years and over) $40

Bonded pairs (animals with an emotional attachment to one another) may be adopted together for the adoption fee of a single animal.
