A Plea from the CAA Board and Executive Director
Just a few nights ago, a large number of pets entered our care from an animal neglect case. They were brought to your local Warrenton animal shelter with the help of CAA volunteers.
These cats, dogs, and puppies are clean and safe now, but taking them in has overwhelmed our small shelter’s resources!
On behalf of the board of directors of Clatsop Animal Assistance (CAA), we would like your help, and we need it right now.
We need donations to purchase additional food and veterinary care. We need FUNDS, and we need items from our Dog Wish List and Cat Wish List.
We also need new volunteers and those who haven’t been out in a while to come back and help us care for this new influx of very sweet dogs and cats, in addition to the other animals in our care. Providing this many animals with love, affection, and exercise and keeping their cages fresh and clean each day takes a small army.
Foster Families are also needed. Contact us today – we will be so grateful for your help volunteer@clatsopanimalassistance.org
Finally, animals always need your voices! These animals were rescued because a Good Samaritan spoke up when they saw that what was happening wasn’t right. Thank goodness they did.
Your donation supports every pet at the Clatsop County Animal Shelter — now more than ever, they need YOU!
With gratitude –
Maryann Sinkler, CAA Board President
