Stunning and sweet, Amanda, is a 2.5-year-old young lady with a short and soft tortoiseshell coat. Amanda is very loving and likes cuddles and being pet, she is not a huge fan of being picked up and prefers to have a few minutes to warm up to new people. Once she knows you, she’ll come and rub along your legs and seek you out for attention. Amanda is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations and is available for same-day adoption with an approved application.

Freckles is our KMUN, THE ASTORIAN, 94.9 THE BRIDGE, WARRENTON KIA, and HITS 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of August 13, 2023

For a cat on a quest, Freckles is pretty laid back. You see, he’s on a quest for the perfect lap. On his quest, he’ll snuggle, he’ll cuddle, he’ll purr and he’ll probably even fall asleep while you’re petting him. But make no mistake, despite how friendly, playful and loving Freckles is, he’s going to find that perfect lap. One day, he’ll lay down in the lap that’s not too hard and not too soft and he’ll know that he’s found the “just right” lap where he will be at home. Is your lap just right? Come meet this short-haired ginger tabby – at just 7 years old he has a lot of lap time yet to live.

Poppy is our KMUN, THE ASTORIAN, 94.9 THE BRIDGE, WARRENTON KIA, and HITS 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of July 30, 2023

This almost 4-year-old girl is a knock-out with her short lilac tabby coat and beautiful blue eyes. Poppy loves getting attention and playing with toys. She’ll greet you with curiosity and confidence, then will appreciate some petting and sitting near you when you are both ready for some quiet time. Poppy had some hard times before she came to the shelter, but she has been very lucky to get to live in a nice foster home where she has learned to trust people and has really enjoyed looking out windows and having human company.
