Maggie and Sam are our KMUN, The Astorian, Hits 94.3, 949 The Bridge, and Warrenton KIA Pet of the Week for the week of May 28, 2023

Sam and his mom Maggie are a bonded pair. Maggie is friendly and comfortable with all of us and with all of the dogs at the shelter. She’s been to two adoption events and welcomed everyone who stopped by to say hi.  Sam is a little anxious but he is happy and confident as long as he’s with Maggie, so they will be adopted as a bonded pair.  Once Sam gets to know you he is friendly and affectionate, and loves walks with the volunteers. He can be skittish, so we’re recommending no children. These two will need a fully fenced yard, but will be content to curl up with you in the house most of the time.

Bambi is 4 years old and full of love and energy! She is thriving in our playgroups and showing us how much she loves to play with other dogs 💜

Adoption Fees:
Dogs: $110 for dogs younger than ten years and $50 for dogs ten or older.
Cats: $75 for cats younger than ten years; $20 for cats ten years or older.
Bonded pair (emotional attachment to each other) are available for the single price.

Simba has come a long way since arriving at the shelter. He is showing his personality and coming out of his shell. Simba loves to play with the cat dancer toy and show off his hunting skills. To our delight, he is now seeking attention from people and is becoming more tolerant of other cats. If you have room in your home and heart come meet Simba today!

Bently is our KMUN, THE ASTORIAN, 94.9 THE BRIDGE, WARRENTON KIA, and HITS 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of April 9, 2023

Bently is a 9-year-old short-haired brown tabby. He’s a little guarded around new people but once he gets to know you he warms right up. He especially loves head rubs and when he’s really comfortable he will show off his joyful spirit- romping all around the room batting his toys to the far corners. This mostly mellow guy is looking for a quiet home with someone to give him his well-deserved head rubs with windows to take in the sights.

Sunny is a one year old short haired calico that is just as her name says- cheerful and bright. She is a sweet blend of tiny meows, gentle head rubs, and a bundle of “let’s play!” all in one. Sunny came into the shelter with a viral infection and conjunctivitis in her eye. She’s getting treatment and her health is improving every day. Even though she was a very sick girl, she’s bouncing back to health and radiates love all around her. Come meet Sunny today!
