Teddy is our KMUN, THE ASTORIAN, 94.9 THE BRIDGE, WARRENTON KIA, and HITS 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of March 16, 2025

Teddy has been living with his foster family for over a month and has truly begun to settle into home life. Although he loves going for long walks and playing fetch in the backyard, he’s also content napping next to you on the couch. Since being in his foster home, Teddy’s fosters have only heard him bark once, he’s very quiet! Teddy enjoys car rides and he has been working on his dog reactivity.
His foster family has seen improvements even in the short month he has been with them. Teddy’s foster mom’s favorite thing about Teddy is how happy he is to see his people when they come home (his whole body moves side to side and he gives so many happy kisses). Teddy’s foster dad loves how polite Teddy is and how much he wants to be a good boy. Adopt this happy pup and you’ll have a goofy loyal friend for life.

Peanut is our KMUN, THE ASTORIAN, 94.9 THE BRIDGE, WARRENTON KIA, and HITS 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of February 23, 2025

Adopted.
Peanut is a sweet and lovely girl just looking for a lap to warm and a home to call her own. Peanut was previously adopted from the shelter but made her way back here recently after her the adopter was no longer able to care for her. We were glad to see her and provide her some much needed medical care. Peanut was recently diagnosed with cancer and has successfully had the mass removed. At 11-years-old, this sweet girl knows what she likes – and at the top of that list is laps and cuddles. Peanut is looking for a loving home where she can live her best life. If you are interested in providing this love bug a place to get cozy for the rest of her years, please call the shelter to meet Peanut today. She`s having a nice time in a loving foster home, but would really love to find her angel adopter who will give her the special love she deserves. A note from Peanut`s Foster Mom: “Peanut is the most gentle, mellow cat I`ve ever met. A bit shy at first, give her a bit of encouragement and she`ll be on your lap taking in all the petting and snuggling you`re willing to give her. Never demanding. Always affectionate. If I didn`t have three cats of my own I would adopt Peanut in a heartbeat.”

Buck is our KMUN, THE ASTORIAN, 94.9 THE BRIDGE, WARRENTON KIA, and HITS 94.3 KRKZ Pet of the Week for the week of February 16, 2025

Buck is a big, beautiful, boisterous three-year-old Rottweiler mix. He is a happy boy and loves people. He’s intelligent, knows many tricks, and is patient and gentle while receiving treats and getting ready for walks. Buck has a lot of get-up-and-go and truly enjoys time in the play yard. True to his breed, Buck is protective and loyal. He can be reactive around dogs and will need a strong handler to help him get out and about. He is a true blue friend and companion with a HUGE heart of gold. Buck immediately puts a smile on your face; he’s just that kind of pup.
